CED Auctions

Picture
Beginning in 2000 the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma partnered with Mike Graham Auctioneers to conduct county equipment auctions.  These auctions were also opened to private bidders and sellers with the idea of having large volume of auction items would attract a large number of interested bidders.  Counties selling equipment could potentially receive higher bids with more bidders present.  The Auctioneer charged the equipment seller 8% of the gross sale amount, with 2% going back to OCCEDB.  OCCEDB apportions the 2% back to the CEDs.  If a county sold equipment, then that 2% off of this sale price is apportioned to the CED that county is apart of.  The 2% of the non-county owned equipment sold is split evenly between the eight CEDs.
